What is Alaya AI?

Alaya is an open, composable Web3 AI data infrastructure network designed to connect distributed data communities with open and composable AI networks by infusing AI training and automated data processing with blockchain technology and gamification.

Designed to unlock open data access for both personal and enterprise AI applications, Alaya AI supports both distributed data crowdsourcing and direct P2P data requests through a unified platform. Our open, composable platform structure provides AI projects with the opportunity to set up unique custom data reward pools to offer their own platform tokens as payment for custom data requests.

Background

AI is supported by three main infrastructures: data, computation, and algorithms, among of which data quality stands out as the most critical determining factor of AI development.

Data is the only channel for AI to interact with reality. Human feedback improves AI performance by providing crucial guidance for AI to form accurate models of reality, as machines can only process data meaningfully under human assistance – the fundamental structure of artificial intelligence is always based on human general intelligence.

The typical AI model training process involves feeding massive datasets (or training samples) into AI/ML algorithms, this could involve billions of data parameters that are manually provided by data labellers.
